Lavinia Fuksas is a designer and jeweller based in Paris, France. She grew up in a culturally active environment, from the earliest years of study she was interested in the commingling between art and fashion.
Alongside the economic studies at Luigi Bocconi University in Milan, she added work experiences in Art galleries, collaborations with emerging and important fashion companies as Azzedine Alaïa. While she was studying, in 2015 she launched her first jewelry brand, AdMater.
She concluded her studies with a textile design course at Central Saint Martins in London, an associated degree in fashion design at Parsons School of Design in New York, a Womenswear design Master at Istituto Marangoni and an Architecture Degree in Paris.
In 2020, she founded her eponymous label Lavinia Fuksas, creating luxury and architectural jewelry pieces, using innovative and sustainable techniques as 3D printing, minimizing waste and using only recyclable materials. The pieces are melted and finished by roman artisans, supporting local craftsmanship.
Lavinia Fuksas aimes at authentic and strong people or those who are looking for that strength, building or supporting an identity, intending to create a world for who wears it. They are fluid and precious but at the same time rough, sculptural and made up of real constructions. Envisioning that luxury resides in the inside and that authentic grace lays precisely in not showing, our timeless jewelry is comparable to the human being, always unique, but who hides his richness, tenderness and strength inside.
